Nutrition Course Prospectus 2019-20
MSc in Nutrition Science and Practice
The Access Course (which is available from the February) is taught mostly online and is designed to equip you with the basic science you need before starting the MSc in September. This is not a stand-alone course, can only be taken if you are moving on to the MSc.
During the first two (College based) teaching years you will learn all the theory and practical skills you need to become a fully qualified nutrition practitioner, and upon successful completion of the two taught years you will be able to join the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and start to practice. In your third year you will complete your MSc dissertation which is home study with the support of a supervisor.
The course is open to students who have an initial undergraduate degree or can prove degree equivalent learning. We are unable to accept students from outside the UK/EU/EAA.
Eligible students living in the UK will be able to apply for a postgraduate student loan.
1NTEC accreditation last for three years and re-accreditation is taking place in January 2019
