York Acupuncture Clinic

York is our main teaching clinic in the same building the students attend the course, with 4 private treatment rooms and a multibed clinic in the basement. All areas are fully accessible for wheelchair users.

When is the clinic open?

The clinic is open Monday to Friday. The earliest appointment is at 9.15am. The last appointment is at 3.30pm for a follow-up client, or 2pm for a new client. To ensure your continuity of treatment, we try to make your appointments on the same day of the week - this means that you will be seen by the same clinic supervisor and often by the same students.

How much does treatment cost?

The first consultation is £45 and subsequent consultations are £30. There is a concessionary rate - please ask our receptionists to see if you can access this. Multibed prices are £20 per treatment.

The Northern College of Acupuncture is situated at 61 Micklegate in the centre of York - easily accessible by public transport. We also have a private car park for our clinic patients with disabled parking slots (the clinic is fully accessible for disabled patients).

NCA Community Acupuncture Clinic - lower cost acupuncture in a multibed setting

The NCA also operate a community acupuncture clinic. This type of clinic allows several people to be treated in the same large room at the same time, with the room being divided into bays to maintain privacy. Many patients find that the shared healing space enhances their experience, and we can offer this service at a reduced cost.

Things to know about the multibed clinic:

• The clinic at the College operates on Mondays only

• Costs only £20 per appointment

• We can treat 3 people a time (well-distanced with screens between each couch)
