The Northern College of Acupuncture is a warm and friendly Higher Education provider, and is dedicated to supporting students, staff and visitors as much as possible. We strive to maintain the atmosphere that is welcoming to all, however, there are a few necessary exceptions.
Dogs are not allowed in College other than special purpose dogs (i.e. guide dogs). Patients and clients with guide dogs are requested to keep the dog with them. Students requiring guide dogs should check with the College Manager as we may need to make special arrangements including checking that their dog's presence will not disturb other students and staff.
We don't allow dogs as there may be staff, students and visitors who are afraid of dogs or disturbed by their presence. They may suffer from pet-related allergies. We like also to (and must) provide as clean an environment as possible, especially in the clinic areas.
