Applying For The Course
Our application and admissions process is designed to explore whether studying acupuncture is the right career move for you. The friendly admissions team are here to help you every step of the way.

When to apply
We like you to be well informed! Before you apply we ask you to have attended an online Q&A or an in-person introductory event – or at least had a one-to-one online video call with us.
Before we interview you we expect that you will have had a thorough read through our website and are aware of the following:
- What you will be learning
- When you will be studying
- What the course costs
You will also be expected to have a good understanding of the challenges of studying on an academic degree level course and how you will meet these challenges.
How to apply
Please complete our online application form. You can save and return to this form as many times as you wish until you are ready to submit. We will acknowledge receipt of your application and arrange your online interview.
Your online interview
If your application is accepted, we will invite you to an online interview with two senior members of staff. This is a formal but friendly interview, lasting around 45 minutes, where we explore with you your motivation for studying acupuncture and your ability to thrive on the course. We will let you know the outcome within 5 days of your interview.
Applying for the course - don't miss out!
We anticipate strong demand for places on our BSc in Acupuncture courses (weekend and weekday full and part-time) starting in September 2026.
The closing date for applications in 2026 is Friday 14th August, after which applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis if we still have places.
The Graduate Perspective
Beth Fairweather
"If you are considering studying acupuncture my advice is - just go for it! No matter where you are in your life journey, getting started is the hardest, scariest bit. You’ll be so glad you did because it’s such an amazing career. Make sure you have lots of friends and family lined up to practice on, as practice is the key to getting everything in your brain. Also, make sure you will have time to sit and learn the theory! Everyone forgets about this bit, but it is just as important."

We hope we have inspired you to join us on the incredible journey that is becoming (and being) an acupuncture practitioner. If you have already attended an introductory event or Q&A event – we welcome your application.
