NCA5000 Clinical Practice

This module aims to enable students to begin to engage meaningfully and actively in the treatment of patients in the teaching clinic under close supervision.

This activity is supported by enabling students to enhance personal and professional skills via PDP processes; developing further palpatory skills and therapeutic repertoire through experience of different areas of bodywork; fostering further development of diagnostic and treatment strategies; providing opportunities for continued learning of pulse diagnosis, points and channels, and fostering a patient-centred attitude by enabling students to attain awareness of what it is like to be an acupuncture patient.
