Student Funding

The good news is that most of our students can now access government student funding to help pay for the course. We are the only acupuncture course in the UK where students (living in England) can access funding to help pay for the course if you already have a degree.

The Student Take

Jake Sellers

"I am a chef, and I was looking for a change of career when I found acupuncture through contact with NCA tutor Ben Elliott. I have not studied to degree level before and have got full-time student finance to help me pay for the course. I applied for my student finance at the start of the summer via the .gov website. It took about 3 weeks to come through and everything was set by the time I started my studies in September. It was a very simple and straightforward process. Denise sent me the course codes, so I had the right information to apply. It was also easy to keep track of the status of my application via my account. Once the application was accepted Student Finance sent a letter confirming the expected tuition fee loan. I am working part-time as a chef to keep the money coming in. I am loving the hands-on aspect of the course. In this first term there are a lot of practical lessons which I am thoroughly enjoying."
