If so, we have some good news for you! At the NCA, you can get a student loan on our BSc in Acupuncture honours degree to help pay for your course. You can also take the majority of your (45) clinic days closer to home at our new clinic in Northwich Cheshire, conveniently situated just off the M6 - saving you time and money!
Access special funding opportunities
Our unique four-year (part-time) BSc in Acupuncture is the only university validated, BAAB-accredited course in the UK eligible for student loans for existing degree holders. Join us and keep earning while you master the art of acupuncture. You can also access funding for our three-year (full-time) BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture if you don't already have a degree.

A short journey to beautiful locations
Our teaching clinic in Northwich is just off the M6 - around 50 minutes drive from the Manchester area and a 1 hour direct train from Manchester Piccadilly. Driving from the Birmingham area will take you around 90 minutes via the M6, with train travel taking around 1 hour via the West Midlands Railway (plus a 30 minute bus journey to the Northwich clinic). There is ample free car parking and plenty of local amenities.
Coming to York for lessons in college? Direct trains from Manchester and Liverpool to York run very frequently, taking just around 2 hours. Trains from Birmingham will take around 2 hours and 30 minutes. Arriving at York station the NCA is merely a stroll away, right through the heart of this historic city.

The journey to York isn't a daily necessity — around a third of your NCA classes are accessible online, blending convenience with our comprehensive in-person sessions. Don't forget that most of your clinic days can be taken closer to home in Northwich.
Weekend classes - your gateway to learning
Our Manchester students often opt for weekend classes, although weekday sessions are available too. They journey to York for the weekend, staying overnight on Saturday to fully immerse themselves in their studies. With classes beginning at 10am on Saturdays, traveling to York in the morning is a breeze.
