NCA offer degree acupuncture courses for students from Birmingham

If you’re based in Birmingham and are looking to begin a career in acupuncture, NCA provide the best start for your future. We offer fully accredited degree acupuncture courses from our college in York. Plus, if you already have a degree, we can offer funding for your studies.
Funded acupuncture training
Students with a previous degree starting our four-year BSc in Acupuncture are eligible for government funding to cover the costs of their training. Over the part-time degree in acupuncture, not only will you be learning while you’re earning, the fees will all be covered. NCA are the only BAAB accredited college to offer this funding – making the travel to York definitely worth your time!

Blended learning
With NCA, around a third of your classes are online, so you won't have to make the trip to York for all of your studies. We make sure our lesson schedules are at practical times for our students too. Our weekend classes start no earlier than 10am, so you’ll have plenty of time to make the journey and won’t need to rush.
When in class with us, you’ll be gaining the practical skills you need to become a successful acupuncturist. In-clinic days are scheduled well in advance to allow you to effectively plan your time and bring you one step closer to your exciting new career.
Study on the go
Many of our students use the travel time to study. With direct trains from Birmingham to York, once on board you can use the distraction free time to work on your projects. And, thanks to discounted student rail prices, it’s much cheaper than you might think!
Our college buildings are just a short walk from York’s rail station. Based right in the heart of this historic city, our students love taking time to explore the delicious foods and independent shops right on the doorstep of NCA.
We know our students have busy lives, so this focused time away from home is ideal for dedicated study. Many choose to have full study weekends, making the most of the affordable accommodation from our trusted hosts. They offer bed and breakfast facilities priced between £25 and £35 in homes close to the college in the centre of York.
